The criminal charges lodged against the appellants in these fourteen consolidated appeals stem from their participation in demonstrations against the war in Iraq at the White House on March 16, 2007, and/or at the Cannon House Office Building on March 22, 2007. The demonstrations culminated in mass arrests. The appellants now before us were tried together with several other defendants in a single proceeding before the court without a jury...
