After a jury trial, appellant Ronald Savoy was convicted on July 20, 2005, of, inter alia, misdemeanor false impersonation of a police officer under D.C.Code § 22-1406 (2001), and possession of a prohibited weapon (blackjack) under D.C.Code § 22-4514(a) (2001). He appeals those convictions on the grounds that the trial court's jury instructions were erroneous and that the trial court erred in failing to suppress a statement...
