A jury found appellant guilty of carrying a pistol without a license (CPWL), possession of an unregistered firearm (UF), and unlawful possession of ammunition (UA).1 According to evidence the jury credited, a police officer saw appellant throw a pistol into the rear yard of a dwelling from an alley behind 53rd Street, N.E.
