The defendant, Hanif Solomon, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a trial to the court,1 on the charge of criminal possession of a firearm in violation of General Statutes § 53a-217c. On appeal, the defendant claims that (1) the court improperly admitted uncharged misconduct evidence and (2) the court was collaterally estopped from finding him guilty of criminal possession of a firearm.
