The petitioner, Luis Perez, appeals following the habeas court granting his petition for certification to appeal from its judgment denying his amended petition for a writ of habeas corpus. On appeal, the petitioner claims that the court erred in denying his claims of ineffective assistance of counsel with respect to (1) his violation of probation hearing and (2) his Alford1 plea.
