The petitioner, Ronnell Banks, appeals from the judgment of the habeas court denying his amended petition for a writ of habeas corpus. On appeal, the petitioner claims that the denial of his petition was improper because his trial counsel provided ineffective assistance in failing (1) to introduce a police report into evidence and cross-examine witnesses therefrom, and (2) to request a continuance to prepare for the cross-examination of a witness....
