The defendant, Alexander Holley, Jr., appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered following a jury trial, of one count of risk of injury to a child in violation of General Statutes § 53-21. On appeal, the defendant claims that (1) there was insufficient evidence to support his conviction of risk of injury to a child and (2) the prosecutor committed certain improprieties during closing argument that deprived him of a fair trial.
