In this appeal, the defendant, Tom M. Aomo, claims that the trial court lacked subject matter jurisdiction over the action for the dissolution of his marriage to the plaintiff, Jacqueline O. Juma, because he had initiated an action for, and ultimately obtained, a divorce from the plaintiff in Kenya.
