ROBINSON, J.

The defendant, James Baker, appeals from the judgment of the trial court denying his motion to correct an illegal sentence. On appeal, he claims that the sentencing court improperly denied his motion because it failed to provide him with an opportunity to allocute prior to the sentence being imposed. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
