The defendant, Daniel Henderson, appeals1 from the judgment of the trial court denying his motion pursuant to Practice Book § 43-222 to correct an illegal sentence on the ground that the sentence was imposed without the assistance of counsel in violation of his rights under the sixth amendment to the United States constitution and article first, § 8, of the Connecticut constitution.
