The plaintiff, Gary Warren Lawson, appeals from the trial court's judgment affirming the determination of the hearing officer of the defendant, the commissioner of motor vehicles, to suspend the plaintiff's motor vehicle license. On appeal, the plaintiff claims that the trial court erred when it determined that it lacked subject matter jurisdiction to hear his appeal because he failed to file his appeal before the expiration of the forty-five day period...
