GRUENDEL, J.

The defendant, Jose O. Guerra, appeals from the judgment of the trial court dismissing his motion to vacate his guilty plea. He claims that the court improperly concluded that it lacked jurisdiction to consider the merits of that motion. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
