ESPINOSA, J.

The defendant, Gary William Stocking, appeals from the judgment of conviction rendered by the trial court, following his guilty plea under the Alford doctrine,1 for possession of child pornography in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-196e (a). The defendant claims that the court improperly denied his motion to withdraw his guilty plea. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
