In this action to compel arbitration, the defendant, the Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority, appeals from the judgment of the trial court rendered in favor of the plaintiff, the Metropolitan District Commission. On appeal, the defendant claims that the court (1) improperly interpreted the parties' contract and (2) abused its discretion by failing to conduct an evidentiary hearing.
