The defendant, Peter J. Gould, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered following a jury trial, of two counts of reckless endangerment in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-64 (a). On appeal, the defendant claims that the trial court improperly (1) failed to instruct the jury regarding mistake of fact and (2) restricted his cross-examination of his then wife, Cynthia Gould.
