PELLEGRINO, J.

The defendant, Jeffrey Geisinger, appeals from the judgment of the trial court rendered in favor of the plaintiff, Juan Arias, for injuries resulting from the negligence of the defendant. On appeal, the defendant argues that the court improperly determined that the plaintiff's claims were not barred by General Statutes § 31-293a.1 We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
