PER CURIAM.

The self-represented plaintiff, Gregg A. Marchand, appeals from the judgment of the trial court rendered in favor of the defendants Maryanne Smith and the William W. Backus Hospital (hospital)1 granting their motion for summary judgment. The plaintiff claims that the court improperly determined that his claims were (1) time barred by the applicable statute of limitations and (2) not saved by General Statutes § 52-591
