This marital dissolution appeal requires us to consider the correctness of the trial court's lump sum alimony order where it was expressly based on an asset valuation determined by the court through a flawed process. Because the court expressly premised its valuation of the defendant's minority stock holdings in six limited liability companies solely on the basis of the market value of real estate and cash held by those entities, less attendant mortgages...
