The defendant, Vincent Grillo, appeals from the judgment of the trial court, Sferrazza, J., denying his motion to open the judgment rendered against him pursuant to a hearing in damages. On appeal, the defendant claims that the trial court, Hon. Lawrence C. Klaczak, judge trial referee, abused its discretion by failing to grant his motion to set aside the default entered for failure to plead. We affirm...
