The plaintiff, the Bridgeport City Supervisors' Association, appeals from the judgment of the trial court denying its application to confirm an arbitration award. On appeal, the plaintiff claims that the court improperly (1) concluded that the award of the arbitrator exceeded the scope of the submission because it awarded the grievant, Bonnie Nichols, rights under the collective bargaining agreement of a bargaining unit that was not a party to the arbitration...
