¶ 1 In this interlocutory appeal, the People challenge an order suppressing incriminating statements made by Michael Edward Lynn while in custody. The trial court held that the statements came after Lynn's unambiguous request for counsel. After such a request, it is unconstitutional for police officers to continue questioning.
