Defendant, Ezequiel Esparza-Treto (Esparza), appeals his judgment of conviction and sentence on numerous counts arising from a high-speed chase through Grand Junction, Colorado that ended when Esparza collided with another vehicle, causing serious bodily injury to both Esparza's passenger and the driver of the other vehicle.
