Defendant, Ross Alley, appeals the judgment of conviction entered on jury verdicts against him for first degree assault and second degree assault. He also appeals the sentence imposed. We first disagree with his contention that the trial court reversibly erred in denying his motion for a continuance. We next consider and reject his assertion that the trial court was required to hold a hearing to determine the competency of an intoxicated witness...
