A jury convicted Darrell Andrew Deleoz of involuntary manslaughter of his girlfriend, Jennifer Lee. At trial, it was undisputed that Lee had died from the consequences of a skull fracture, but its cause was vigorously contested. The medical examiner for Santa Clara County opined that Lee had been beaten to death...
