A jury convicted defendant Paul Jimmy Rea of murder, possession of a firearm by a felon, evading an officer causing injury and resisting a peace officer. On appeal, defendant contends: (1) the trial court erred and violated his constitutional rights by admitting hearsay statements that the victim feared him; and (2) the trial court erred in admitting certain DNA evidence.
