A jury found defendant Gilbert Simental guilty of three counts of lewd and lascivious acts upon a child under the age of 14. (Pen. Code, § 288, subd. (a).) The jury also found true that defendant committed the offense against multiple victims within the meaning of Penal Code section 667.61, subdivision (e)(5).
