In this wrongful death case the plaintiffs' decedent lost control of his motorcycle on a two-lane road as he attempted to avoid colliding with a water truck which was in the course of making a left turn on to the road. The decedent and his motorcycle struck the water truck and the decedent was killed. In a bifurcated trial of plaintiffs' claims against the driver of the water truck and the owner of the truck, the jury, by a vote of 10 to 2, found that neither...
