HOWARD, Chief Judge.

¶ 1 After a jury trial, appellant Nathan Kinney was convicted of possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited possessor. The trial court suspended the imposition of his sentence and placed Kinney on two years of probation. On appeal, Kinney argues the court erred in denying his motion to suppress a statement he made to a police officer after he was arrested.
