WHITTEN, Judge.*

¶ 1 Michael Jernigan appeals from his convictions and sentences on two counts of theft of a credit card and one count of shoplifting. He was convicted of those crimes after a trial in absentia ended on August 16, 2005. Jernigan was subsequently apprehended on a bench warrant and sentenced. On appeal, Jernigan argues that the trial court erred in denying his motion for judgment of acquittal...
