¶ 1 This appeal requires us to examine the applicability and scope of the firefighter's rule. The issues we address are (1) whether the rule applies to police officers and (2) whether the superior court properly applied the rule to bar negligence claims filed on behalf of two police officers who died in the course of responding to an emergency situation.
