Appellant, Chesapeake Exploration, LLC, appeals from an order of the Van Buren County Circuit Court granting summary judgment to appellees, Thomas and Gayla Whillock, and from an order clarifying the summary judgment. The court ruled that, as a matter of law, Chesapeake could not recover a $120,000 oil-and-gas-lease bonus it had paid to the Whillocks.
