In 2010, appellant Robert Joseph Moten was found guilty in a trial to the bench of first-and second-degree battery in the stabbing and cutting injuries of Iesha Timmons and Curtis Abrams. He was sentenced to an aggregate term of 264 months' imprisonment. The Arkansas Court of Appeals affirmed.
