In 2005, appellant Ricky Justus entered a plea of guilty in the Garland County Circuit Court to two counts of false imprisonment, theft of property, and domestic battery committed in the presence of a child. Sentencing was decided by a jury, and appellant was sentenced as a habitual offender to an aggregate term of 1560 months' imprisonment.
