Appellant Walter Boykins pleaded guilty to Class C felony theft of property, and on July 31, 2008, he was placed on three years' probation. One of appellant's conditions of probation required him to obey all state laws. On January 15, 2010, the State filed a petition to revoke, alleging that Mr. Boykins violated the terms of his probation by committing second-degree sexual assault on July 27, 2009.
