Appellant Dustin Vickers appeals the circuit court's order denying his petition for writ of habeas corpus. In 1992, Vickers was convicted of first-degree murder and was sentenced to life imprisonment. He appealed his conviction and sentence, and this court affirmed. Vickers v.
