PER CURIAM.
Appellant Marcus Terrell Atkins appeals the denial of his pro se petition for postconviction relief pursuant to Arkansas Rule of Criminal Procedure 37.1 (2007). He argues on appeal that he was not afforded effective assistance of counsel because his trial counsel failed to object when the trial judge sentenced appellant to a firearm enhancement rather than submitting the issue to the jury.
