Appellant Charles Raymond was charged with possession of a firearm by certain persons, aggravated robbery, first-degree battery, theft of property, and kidnapping. Two codefendants were charged with the same offenses. On August 30, 2010, Raymond filed a motion to dismiss the charges for lack of a speedy trial.
