Appellant Juan Estrada was found guilty by a jury in Pulaski County Circuit Court of rape, in violation of Ark.Code Ann. § 5-14-103 (Repl.1997), and sexual abuse in the first degree, in violation of Ark.Code Ann. § 5-14-108 (Repl.1997).1 He was sentenced to life imprisonment.
