On December 1, 2006, Tommy Howell suffered an admittedly compensable injury to his left shoulder and right wrist while working for Automated Conveyor Systems, Inc. (ACSI). The injuries occurred when he fell approximately fifteen feet from a ladder while trying to repair a broken gas line on the top of an oven.
