A jury convicted appellant, Jamael McKnight, of the offenses of second-degree battery and first-degree child endangerment related to burns received by his five-month-old daughter. He was sentenced to forty-eight months on the battery conviction and thirty-six months on the child-endangerment conviction, to run consecutively.
