Bruce Blount pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia, for which he was sentenced to six years in the Arkansas Department of Correction. Pursuant to Arkansas Rule of Criminal Procedure 24.3(b), he reserved the right to appeal from the denial of his motion to suppress. He now comes before this court, arguing that the police did not have the right to conduct a pat-down search...
