This case began as a defamation lawsuit by appellant against multiple defendants. In 2008, appellant's complaint against all but two of the defendants, Anne-Marie Nichols and 451 Press, LLC, was dismissed without prejudice. In March 2009, the trial court granted partial summary judgment, dismissing 451 Press from the action for lack of personal jurisdiction but leaving the claim against Ms. Nichols intact.
