Appellant Patricia McClanahan was convicted by a Scott County jury of manslaughter and abuse of a corpse. She was sentenced to a total of 192 months' imprisonment in the Arkansas Department of Correction (120 months for manslaughter and seventy-two months for abuse of a corpse). McClanahan does not challenge her manslaughter conviction; her sole point on appeal is that the trial court erred in its refusal to grant her motion to dismiss...
