Maurice Antionne Cartwright was convicted of manslaughter in the death of his three-year old son Je'Remyah, a violation of § 13A-6-3, Ala. Code 1975. Cartwright was sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment and was ordered to pay fines and court costs.
