In 2003, Charles Young, Jr., sued Southeast Alabama Medical Center ("SAMC"), alleging that it had negligently maintained its premises, resulting in injury to Young when he slipped and fell on the premises. In April 2007, the trial court denied SAMC's motion for a summary judgment. On January 19, 2011, the trial court entered an order stating its intent to dismiss the case pursuant to Rule 41(b), Ala.
