Patience Aileen Salter ("the wife") petitions this court for a writ of mandamus directing the Mobile Circuit Court ("the trial court") to vacate an August 19, 2011, order in which it stayed the underlying divorce action pending resolution of a criminal matter against Kirt Lee Stokes ("the husband").
