The appellant, Harold Clarence Frost, appeals from the circuit court's denial of his petition for postconviction relief filed pursuant to Rule 32, Ala. R.Crim. P. In May 2008, Frost pleaded guilty to one count of sodomy in the first degree and to two counts of sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old. The circuit court sentenced Frost to life in prison for the first-degree sodomy conviction and to 15 years' for each of the sexual-abuse convictions...
