Brandon Washington was convicted by a Jefferson County jury of murder made capital because it was committed during a robbery, see Ala.Code 1975, § 13A-5-40(a)(2), and was sentenced to death. On appeal, the Court of Criminal Appeals rejected several of Washington's arguments, but determined that the presentence report did not comply with Ala.Code 1975, § 13A-5-47(b), or with Rule 26.3(b), Ala. R.Crim. P. That court then remanded the case...
