The State of Alabama ("the State") filed a complaint seeking the forfeiture of a 2000 BMW automobile (hereinafter "the vehicle") allegedly owned by Johnnie Hildreth. In its complaint, the State alleged that Latorey Ivory had used the vehicle to traffic cocaine, and, therefore, the State alleged that the vehicle was subject to forfeiture pursuant to § 20-2-93, Ala.Code 1975.
