Lakisha Evett Jones was charged by seven separate indictments with seven counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instruments, i.e., counterfeit checks, violations of § 13A-9-6, Ala. Code 1975. Jones was convicted of two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.
